Therefore Visafone subscribers are expected to migrate to the MTN network with the Visafone purchaser migration. This article will show you how to migrate your Visafone line to MTN and the requirements needed to enjoy MTN GSM services on your Visafone line.
1.   Visafone is now owned by MTN. 
2.   Your Visafone number will not change, it will be retained on the MTN community. 
3.   Your tarrif plan and statistics package will remain as it were on Visafone. 
4.   To migrate is free and you will be given a new free sim card. 
5.   Your line go live on the MTN network nationwide within 24 hours after activation. 
6.   No migration by proxy, you must be physically present with your ID and other details. 
7.   You may be capable of access and maintain your offerings on mtn after migration. MTN mobile📱 network aid both voice and records offerings. 
8.   Your visafone airtime and statistics balances will disappear after the migration to MTN but you will be duly compensated with bonus after your migration is finished. 
9.   You'll nevertheless be charged based on visafone product and provider tariff plans. 
10.  Once migrated, you will now be recharging your Visafone line with MTN vouchers with the usage of *556*recharge pin#. 
11.  If your cellphone is only CDMA, will have to buy a new GSM enabled telephone.

2.   An active VISAFONE MSISDN (Number).
3.   Three (3) frequently dialled numbers.
4.   A Valid ID card – International Passport (Data Page), Driver’s license, National ID, Voters Card, etc.
5.   VISAFONE SIM or Starter Pack/kits (Optional).
6.   Last recharge and activation date (optional).

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Reviews Show Apple Has Work To Do

More than ever, Apple has its work cut out for it with next two iterations of the iPhone. That’s the message some Galaxy Note 7 reviews are sending.

A quick canvassing of reviews this week yielded more than a few unflattering hardware comparisons with the iPhone 6/6s/6s Plus. Of course, Apple could quickly rectify this with iPhone 7 due to be revealed in the coming weeks. But some of the critiques highlight a growing hardware gap that could extend beyond the iPhone 7.

AMOLED beckons: Let’s start with the Wall Street Journal. After stating that the Galaxy Note 7, S7 Edge, and S7 have “stunning” 2560 x 1440-pixel screens, the review says that Samsung’s “AMOLED screens…absolutely blow any iPhone display out of the water.” That assessment jibes with display expert DisplayMate Technologies’ warning that Apple needs to get on the AMOLED bandwagon. In addition to image-quality advantages over LCDs (used on the iPhone), AMOLED technology allows Samsung to build the curved displays on the S7 Edge and Note 7. Not to mention building future devices like the rumored foldable phone.

For now, there’s plenty of praise in the Journal’s review (and other reviews) about the curved display. Something (I’m guessing) Apple won’t address until next year. The Journal said that the curved edges of the Note 7 “makes the wide bezel surrounding the 5.5-inch screen on the iPhone 6s Plus look like a paper picture frame from Six Flags.”

Bigger can be much better if it’s done right: Both the iPhone 6s and Nexus 6P came under fire for being ergonomically challenged in a review from The Verge. Arguing that the Galaxy Note 7 “is the best big phone ever made,” the review goes on to say that “it feels like a device that was designed to be a big phone from the beginning…I can’t say the same for the iPhone 6S Plus, Nexus 6P, or any other giant phone on the market, which are downright clunky in comparison.”

Other reviews were not kind either. Business Insider brings up the ”extra bulk” of the iPhone 6 Plus, citing problems handling the Apple phone, then adds: “I had none of those problems with the Note 7.”

Software is separate: Apple still has an ecosystem/software/app advantage with iOS, which is probably more important to more consumers than a curved display or AMOLED image-quality advantages. But that will only last as long as Apple is perceived by the average consumer as keeping pace with Samsung hardware. If Apple sticks with flat LCD displays on its phones for the foreseeable future, perception could change. Especially if Samsung is showing off foldable phones and offering more Galaxy phones with curved screens.

The good news is that Apple still has plenty of opportunity to work its magic and bring out a stunning 10th anniversary iPhone. And of course the iPhone 7 could surprise too.

Design and Display

Not a lot of efforts went into concealing the budget status of the Tecno Boom J7 in terms of its appearance. The story has changed with its successor. Although the Tecno Boom J8 still sports a plastic body, the design is more appealing to the eye.

It is rimmed with a metallic frame. The look is more high-end this time. The handset crams in a massive 5.5-inch IPS display raising expectation of great wide viewing angles. That expectation is a bit tempered, though, by an HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels – still decent for a device like this.

The Tecno Boom J8 is better-equipped than its predecessor for shot-taking. The main camera has been bumped to 13 megapixels and it features LED flash and autofocus. The selfie snapper has also received an upgrade to 5 megapixels.

It will supposedly come with flash for impressive low-light selfies. For storage, the phablet offers integrated capacity of 16 GB, which is expected to be expandable by up to 128 GB using a microSD card.

With a quad-core MediaTek MT6753 processor under the hood, the Tecno Boom J8 looks ready to deliver enjoyable performance for a low mid-range smartphone. The 64-bit CPU is clocked at 1.3 GHz. It is paired a Mali-T720 graphics solution and RAM of 2GB capacity – for comparison, the Boom J7 had 1GB RAM.
The handset is supposedly the first to be powered by Tecno’s newly-designed HiOS software, a custom version of Android 5.1 Lollipop.

For superb sound, the Tecno Boom J8 will be accompanied by a Boom Headset. Audio quality is tuned by Maxx Audio technology, which ensures you enjoy great sound both via the loudspeaker or headphones.

The phablet is accompanied by a large 3000mAh Li-Ion battery with fast charge support and an ultra power-saving mode. It supports dual-SIM feature and LTE connectivity.
